Reus Deportiu 4-3 Barça: Series tied

Series tied, as FC Barcelona lost 4-3 to Reus Deportiu in the second OK Liga semi-finals match. The defeat makes it 1-1 in games and the blaugranes have their next chance to nudge ahead again on Friday at home in the Palau Blaugrana.

Not the best start to the game for Barça as Reus came out firing, Diego Rojas coming through challenges to score past Sergi Fernández in the first minute. The home side were much more in the game, creating chances on the counter that needed the blaugranes' keeper's interventions to keep the visitors from going two down. However, Barça were growing into the game and matching Reus for intensity.

It actually only took them five minutes to turn the score around, Sergi Llorca getting the equaliser (min. 13) before Eloi Cervera scored the second (min. 18). Both finishes came during a second attacking phase after the blaugranes' initial attempts were repelled. Still another twist before half-time, however, as Sergi Aragonès restored parity in the 20th minute.

A slower start to the second half, as both teams were aware that the next goal could turn the game, with energy being conserved for the rest of the half. The action and goals kept flowing all the same, Martí Casas making it 3-2, just after Sergi Fernàndez saved a direct free hit for a blue card to Marc Grau.

Both teams had chances to score from direct free hits after ten fouls to no avail, but goals ultimately came through Ignacio Alabart who levelled the score again with just two and a half minutes to play (3-3), before Sergi Aragonès grabbed his brace some 50 seconds later that saw his side through to a 4-3 win.
