Johan Cruyff Foundation: sport and healthy habits

Helping boys and girls to have a healthy future

The collaboration between the Barça Foundation and the Johan Cruyff Foundation began in 2004 in order to promote the social integration of children and young people, especially those at risk of social exclusion, through the practice of healthy habits

One of the outcomes of this collaboration is the Cruyff Courts program in Catalonia. These are small football fields that are available for free and serve to promote sport among children and young people and for this activity to instill values such as responsibility, self-improvement, integration, teamwork and education in healthy habits, such as the prevention of tooth decay and childhood obesity.

SOCIAL INCLUSION

Our commitment to the Johan Cruyff Foundation

Since 2015, the Barça Foundation and the Johan Cruyff Foundation have been collaborating with the aim of promoting the social inclusion of children and young people, especially the most vulnerable.

One of the outcomes of this collaboration is the construction of a total of 15 Cruyff Courts throughout Catalonia.

The alliance also includes 6vs6 Cruyff Courts, with the aim that boys and girls learn to organize their own tournaments.

We are also supporting the “Patio 14” project, which seeks to renovate ten Catalan school playgrounds.
