Aitana, best player of 2023/24 Champions League

Aitana Bonmati is the Champions League player of the season 2023/24 after finishing the title-winning campaign with 6 goals and 6 assists.

She played a huge part in the team's superlative performance against Lyon in Saturday's final, and scored the first of the two goals. After Alexia scooped the prize in 2021/22, there have now been three blaugrana winners in a row.

Five in Team of the UWCL

Aitana is joined by the team-mates Bronze, Paredes, Guijarro and Graham in the team of the tournament. The XI is also composed by four from Lyon (Christiane Endler, Selma Bacha, Lindsey Horan and Kadidiatou Diani), one from PSG (Tabitha Chawinga) and one from Chelsea (Jessica Carter).

There was also an award for former Barça star Asisat Oshoala for the goal of the tournament, an acrobatic overhead kick to drive home a Caroline Graham Hansen cross in the 5-0 defeat of Benfica.
