Ronald Araujo visits Barça Academy campus

Last week the young footballers who took part in a clinic organised by the Barça Academy at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper were paid a surprise visit by none other than Barça central defender Ronald Araujo. The youngsters looked on as the Uruguayan international appeared at the start of their training session to spend a few moments with them accompanied by Benny Megreli, director of the Barça Academy. 

The young players had come all the way from Chile, Uruguay and Argentina to take part in a multi-day training camp to improve their game and learn to play the Barça way, and to boot, were given a pleasant surprise with the visit of the South American Barça star. 

Aged between six and 15, the apprentice footballers were left shocked by the visit of a Barça first team player. The youngsters took time out to have their photographs taken with Ronald Araujo and chat with the defender. One youngster was so taken with the visit that he found it hard to let go after giving his hero a hug.
