Barça Atlètic 1-2 Nàstic: Too late to salvage a point

Defeat for Barça Atlètic in the Estadi Johan Cruyff as the blaugranes went down to a 2-1 loss in the Catalan derby against Gimnàstic de Tarragona. Angel Alarcón's goal in injury time at the end of the second half was not enough for the home side to get anything out of the contest. 

The game did not get off to the best of starts for the blaugranes with Nàstic taking the lead in the 17th minute through Godoy following a mistake at the back from Barça Atlètic. The striker from Tarragona was a real threat in the first half as Astralaga was forced into a couple of excellent saves to prevent the visitors from doubling their lead. 

In the second half Rafa Márquez's team came out strongly in search of the equaliser with Moha going close near the hour mark before Unai Hernández and Pelayo also tried their luck. 

Then, with 10 minutes to go in the game, a killer blow for Barça. The blaugranes lost the ball in their own half and Marc Fernández beat Astralaga to make it 2-0 to Nàstic. 

Alarcón's effort in the 94th minute gave Barça brief hope but it was not enough to avoid defeat in the local derby.
