Barça 41-29 Bada Huesca: Home season ends with impressive win

The blaugranes overcome their Aragonese opponents at the Palau after receiving the league trophy

A great win for the FC Barcelona handball team at the Palau Blaugrana as they defeated Bada Huesca by 41-29 in their final home game of the campaign. Carlos Ortega's team came out focused for a contest which saw the return of Domen Makuc and a goodbye from Haniel Langaro as well as the presentation of the league trophy.

Carlsbogard and Luis Frade set the tone early on with goals to give the home side a 13-6 lead after 20 minutes, the blaugrana defence playing its part too.

However, in the last 10 minutes of the half, the visitors fought back and cut the lead to four goals at 16-12.

In the second half the blaugranes turned up the volume again and three consecutive goals from Hampus Wanne saw them retake a 10 goal lead at 31-21.

The last minutes of the encounter saw the return of Domen Makuc to the court after nine month out through injury. The centre added two goals to the total to allow the home side to take a 41-29 win.
