Online participatory sessions prove successful

Every FC Barcelona Official Supporters' Club able to exchange opinions with Josep-Ignasi Macià from the FC Barcelona Board of Directors

With the aim of fostering direct interaction between the Club and its Official Supporters' Clubs, FC Barcelona began holding a series of meetings with FC Barcelona Official Penyes Registry members from mid-November 2023 onwards. As such, a total of 10 sessions have been held over the subsequent months, covering every region where the Official Supporters' Clubs are located. The final participatory session took place on May 14 and featured the overseas Official Supporters' Clubs.

Presided over by Josep-Ignasi Macià from the FC Barcelona Board of Directors, the online participatory sessions have provided the opportunity for Official Supporters' Clubs to have questions answered and to exchange opinions with the Club directly. New technologies have made this direct interaction with Official Supporters' Clubs around the world possible. Other directors from the Club also attended each session, namely Social Area director Anna Aznar, and Official Supporters' Club Department manager Enric Bosch, who were there to answer the questions put to them.

Official Supporters' Clubs very happy with the participatory sessions

The attendees of each participatory session were asked to evaluate the experience and 98% of them rated it as very satisfactory. Furthermore, 99% of attendees would want more online meetings about other aspects of interest to Official Supporter's Clubs.

As such, the Official Supporters' Clubs Department is weighing up the possibility to continue with more participatory sessions next season in order to look into other areas of interest.
