Changes in lead

The game started well for the visitors with Barça taking a 6-0 lead early on. However, the home side fought back to surge ahead in a game in which the lead changed hand on multiple occasions.

At the end of the first quarter, points from Da Silva handed Barça a five point lead at 24-19. Nevertheless, Bilbao stormed back to take the lead at 27-26 on 13 minutes before three pointers from Jabari Parker and the guiding hand of Ricky Rubio gave Barça a slender lead at the break at 38-37.

Barça up the pace

In the third quarter the dynamic remained the same until three pointers from first Satoransky and then Da Silva saw Barça's lead climb a maximum of 13 at 62-49 on 32 minutes into the game. Bilbao Basket pulled themselves back to within four points but the final hooter saw Barça take a 72-68 win to secure third place in the league.
