All eyes on Real Sociedad
After the team took Tuesday off, Xavi Hernández had them back on the training ground today with an eye to preparations for Monday's game
Work resumed at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper today after the squad got some rest on Tuesday. And that's because there's another game coming up on Monday at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, when Real Sociedad will be the visitors.
With the sun very much in attendance as summer starts to kick in over Catalonia, the venue for the Wednesday workout was the Tito Vilanova field.
Monday's game starts at 9pm CEST, by which time Barça will know how Girona have fared in their weekend fixture at Alavés and whether there is any chance of moving above them in the race for second place. If not, there are three more chances to come before the season is up.
