Barça launches second edition of Festival Collection
The season of music festivals is almost upon and Barça have created another collection of clothing for spring-summer aimed at young people who wish to wear the Barça colours outside of a sporting environment. The city of Barcelona is a centre for music and the collaboration with Spotify makes this line of products even more special as it brings together all those elements in search a young, urban audience.
Football is an element of current urban fashion and with the Festival 2.0 collection, Barça are trying to bring in to every day fashion elements relating to passion for colours and place the collection as a trend and a fashion option for fans of football.
The range includes various options for fans with unisex designs which can go together to create an outfit that guarantees maximum comfort. Garments and lines that are comfortable and offer a casual and entertaining look, designed with fashionable patterns. All of them, furthermore, include distinctive elements of FC Barcelona such as the use of blaugrana and the inclusion of the club badge in the embossing.
In this casual line of clothing, Barça focus of several of their product foundations, such as fashion, comfort and versatility.
Culer participation
The collection has seen players from both the men's and women's teams involved. Pau Cubarsí, Victor Roque, Héctor Fort, Marc Guiu, Fridolina Rolfö, Keira Walsh, Ingrid Engen, Caroline Graham Hansen and Esmee Brugts have all modelled for the youth-orientated collection.
Other collections
For a while now Barça has opted to widen its range of products for fans all over the world and collections have been put together for all audiences. Lines such as the 1899 collection have been created, using iconic jerseys from the Club's history as inspiration. The Essentials collection combines urban and sporting clothing to create versatile, comfortable and stylish items. Barça Basics takes the Club's identity and fans as a starting point for a functional and comfortable range of clothing, and Barça Kids is a line designed with the younger Barça fans in mind. Collaborations with artists such as Rosalía, the Rolling Stones and Karol G thanks to Spotify have also given rise to collections.
Last October a collection was released with Nike and the prestigious brand of streetwear Patta from the Netherlands which had an enormous success in terms of sales amongst younger Barça fans.
