Inter 2-3 Barça: Stronger position than ever
Barça have continued their confidence march onwards with a 3-2 win at Inter Movistar that moves them even closer to mathematical confirmation as regular season champions
But against a fellow play-off contender, this was never going to be an easy one, especially with half their minds already on the trip to Armenia for the Final Four of the Champions League, and early on it looked they might get caught out.
Drahovsky put the home side ahead but Barça hit straight back a minute later with a somewhat fortunate goal put into his own net by Inter's Raúl Gómez.
A lovely solo effort from Matheus then earned a Catalan lead, and in the first minute of the second half the cushion was opened to two goals by Pito. Bar¡a couldn't find any more goals and were made to sweat when Raúl Gómez narrowed the gap after 29 minutes.
A nervous last few minutes included Dídac Plana saving a double penalty, but Barça held on and can now set their minds fully on the hunt for the European title. And they'll be doing while three points clear at the top of the league table.
