The club's new home, along with the Americas Cup and Sagrera train station, are the topics of a discussion of groundbreaking, benchmark architectural projects that are raising the city's global profile

The project for the future Spotify Camp Nou has been one of the main topics of a series of debates and events organised by Consentino City Barcelona together with Only Media News, and in association with the Perspectiva - L'Arquitectura show on Catalunya Ràdio, around the evolution of architecture, construction and urban planning in the city. The future Stadium, the Americas Cup and the Sagrera train station were the main topics of a colloquium featuring among others the director of Espai Barça's technical office, Lluís Moya.

Called #ReinventingTheBuilding “From the Americas Cup to the Spotify Camp Nou. Latest on the main urban planning projects” each of the unique features of the different projects were presented, thus raising awareness about these major poles of attraction in the sector, and directly from the mouths of the very people who are leading these transformations of the city. Lluís Moya was joined by David Pino, general director of Port of Barcelona, Lucía Ferrater, from the Barcelona Office of Architecture, Fermín Vázquez, founder of b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, and Maria Buhigas, chief architect at Barcelona City Council.

The director of the Espai Barça technical office set out some of the main details of Barça's new home, which will become an architectural benchmark for the city and the world. Moya detailed the singularities of Espai Barça and the major transformation of the FC Barcelona facilities in Les Corts district, which include improving the integration of the stadium into the neighbourhood and the city, as well as promoting more sustainable, socially responsible mobility and introducing measures to contribute to the preservation of the environment, all key aspects of the project and which have been taken into account in the development of its design.

Likewise, the unique features of the Americas Cup and the Sagrera station projects were also presented, thus helping to disseminate knowledge about these ground-breaking endeavours.
