Ter Stegen aiming for 'another clean sheet'
Marc-André ter Stegen vowed that the team "will do all we can to get into the next round of the Champions League" in his press conference ahead of Tuesday's showdown with Napoli at the Estadi Olimpic.
"We want to keep a clean sheet" he continued. "And if we can do that then then all we need is one goal to win the tie." And as that's exactly what Barça have done in their last three games, there's every chance that it could happen again.
"What we can't control is the way Napoli are approaching the game" he added. "Our job is to focus on what they come to do and make sure that it is us who go on to qualify."
"We defended really well in Naples. They created very few chances. In fact, there was only one really clear one and that's the one they scored from. This Tuesday we have to make sure they don't get any."
The German was also quizzed about some of the other members of the blaugrana rearguard. He described Cubarsí as "a very hard worker both on and off the pitch" and he also congratulated Christensen "for doing so well in his new position. With Christensen in midfield there is a better balance between our defensive and offensive lines. He seems confident and relaxed in his duty."
