The Players FC Barcelona site incorporates data from Barça Femení

The Players FC Barcelona site, managed by the FC Barcelona Players' Association in collaboration with the Club's Digital Area, has just incorporated the Barça Women's data from the 2004-05 season. So, you can already find the sports files of the 153 players who have played with the first team since it reached the top category and up to the present day, and the files of the 719 matches played by the Women throughout all this period.

All the new data has been provided by the Club's Documentation Center and from now on it is added to that of all the matches and players of the men's first team that were already available on the portal. The Group launched Players FC Barcelona at the end of 2021 and has not stopped growing in terms of visits: in 2023 it had a monthly average of 116,000 visits.

Each player and each match, in detail

Each player file includes biographical data, number of games played, goals scored, the details of each season, a graph with the player's career at the Club, the trophies won, the relationship of teammates with whom she has coincided during her time in Barça Women and their sporting career in other clubs. As for the information regarding the matches, Players collects the lineup, the changes, the minutes played by each player and the goals.

In the words of the president of the Association, Juan M. Asensi, with this expansion of Players "we value the contribution of the Women in the history of the Club, we reaffirm our commitment to our former players and we give continuity to a project that wants to spread the role that all its players have contributed to Barça throughout history".

In addition to the players of the first team since the 2004-05 season, the portal also includes a file of the former Blaugrana players who are members of the Association and also of the entire team that played the first match of the Women's on the 25 of December 1970. In total, in Players FC Barcelona you can find data on more than 3,000 footballers from the Club's history. And you can consult the records of 8,876 matches, which include all those played by the men's first team (official and friendlies) and the official ones played by the Women's since the 2004-05 season, which is since when data is kept.
