Barça 1-0 Palma: Miquel wins three vital points
What a win at the Palau Blaugrana! Mallorca Palma Futsal were beaten and the man of the moment was unquestionably Miquel Feixas, who not only produced some fabulous saves but scored the only goal of the game and in the very last minute of the match!
The Palau Blaugrana witnessed a top notch game of futsal, between two excruciatingly evenly matched sides and there were plenty of chances for the visitors from the islands to claim the first goal, but the Barça goalie was in utterly inspired form. Miquel Feixas was simply outstanding, and the saves he made to deny both Salar and Bruno Gomes were a joy to behold.
The game built up to a resounding climax. Dyego was ordered off. Shortly after, visitor Moslem saw red too. This was tense stuff. The power plays couldn't split the teams, and it looked like we were headed for a goalless game of footy, but then Miquel Feixas found himself in possession and thought he'd have a pop.
Why not? There was no keeper. And the Palau went wild. It was in! Amazing saves, fantastic goal, what a hero and barça stay two points clear of ElPozo at the top of the league table.
