Barça 42-27 Valladolid: Comfortable win

Barça have taken a comfortable win over  Recoletas Atlético Valladolid by 42-27 at the Palau Blaugrana to record their second won of the week at home. Carlos Ortega's team are next back in action on Thursday in the Champions League against Magdeburg. 

Barça start in charge 

Valladolid opened the scoring in the contest but it was the blaugranes who took control in the first half. Barça keeper Emil Neilsen made an excellent 10 saves from 22 shots where, in contrast, the blaugranes scored 21 times from 26 shots to take a 21-12 lead at half time. 

Taking advantage 

In the second half the story remained the same, keeper Emil Nielsen scored his seventh goal of the season before Filip Saric came on to play the final quarter of the game. Haniel Langaro top scored for the blaugranes with Ortega's team taking their 18th win in 19 games in the Asobal League.
