WhiteBIT to feature at the BIHUB Sports Tomorrow Congress

A partnership agreement between FC Barcelona and one of the largest European centralized crypto exchanges WhiteBIT, signed in December 2022 saw the company  become the Club’s Global Partner. With the aim of establishing robust, long-lasting, and mutually beneficial alliances, the Barça Innovation Hub (BIHUB) has scheduled a round table discussion to be hosted by Europe’s most important cryptocurrency exchange as part of the Sports Tomorrow Congress.

Monday 26 February will see the Product Owner of WhiteBIT’s Whitechain platform, Alex Starikov, host a session at 3.15pm CET called “Decoding the future of fan engagement with personalized digital merchandise”, during which he will look at the challenges surrounding new technologies and fan interaction, particularly in the digital domain. The session is part of the first day of the Sports Tomorrow Congress, which will discuss innovation and technology, and can be attended in-person or watched online, with both national and international media outlets showing keen interest.

New project with WhiteBIT: an online course with BIHUB

In addition to this informative session as part of an international forum, BIHUB and WhiteBIT have created a new online course called “Game-Changing Tech: Mastering Blockchain”. This initiative is another progression in the partnership between Barça and WhiteBIT that aims to boost both companies’ brand power in the field of education, which is vital for shaping society’s future.

The first edition of the course is already available via the Barça Innovation Hub platform and will start on 10 March 2024. An edition will start each month, requiring 6 to 8 hours a week to complete.

Alongside these actions, WhiteBIT are also involved with Club activities via the LED screens that wrap around the pitch, and via interactive sessions with the fans, whereby the Club’s supporters can obtain VIP experiences for both men’s and women’s football first team matches, and basketball games.
