Manresa 77-87 Barça: Well-earned win at Nou Congost
Barça have added another win to their Liga ACB account, on Sunday at fellow Catalans side Baxi Manresa. It was never an easy game, but an inspired Jabari Parker, with 16 points in total, was the main factor that got Barça over the line.
Willy Hernangómez, Satoransky and Brizuela were also outstanding as the team goes into next week's Copa ACB in fine song, where their quarter final opponents are precisely going to be Manresa.
Barça were the first side to build up a lead, 11-18 after just six minutes, and by the quarter hour mark, they were as many as 16 points ahead. But it wasn't going to be an easy ride, because an 11-1 streak threw Manresa right back into contention, although by the third period, Barça were back into a double figure lead at 42-52.
It happened again, a 9-0 streak from Manresa again had the two side within touching distance, and eventually, for the first time in the game, Manresa went ahead. Five consecutive points from Jokubaitis tidied things up a little, but Manresa still refused to give up the fight.
It was in the final minutes that Parker truly shone, with his 6 points serving to eventually win the game by ten.
