Barça Women to face Brann in the Champions League quarter finals

Barça Women will face Norwegian side Brann in the quarter finals of this season's Champions League. The draw for the last eight of the competition took place in Nyon, Switzerland on Tuesday and the blaugranes, as group winners, have the second leg of the tie at home on 26/27 March with the first leg on 19/20 March in Norway. 

The draw for the semi finals also took place on Tuesday and so if Jonatan Giráldez's team can make it past Brann then they will face Ajax or Chelsea for a place in what would be their third appearance in a row in the final of the Champions League. The tournament finale will be played in San Mamés in Bilbao on 25 May. 

Brann, tough opponents 

The Norwegian side finished in second place in their group on 13 points, just one behind first place Olympique Lyonnais. Martin Peter Ho's team held the French giants to a draw at home in the group stage and conceded just seven goals in six matches. 

Draw until the final 

Aside from Ajax v Chelsea, the draw also saw Benfica v Lyon and Hacken v PSG out of the hat to complete the quarter finals. Should Barça get through to the semi-finals then the tie against Ajax or Chelsea will come on 20/21 April (first leg) and 27/28 April (second leg).
