Spanish Super Cup squad announced
Barça are off to Saudi Arabia, where they'll be hoping to beat Osasuna on Thursday and thus earn a place in Sunday's grand final.
Coach Xavi Hernandez has named the following squad of 25 players for the trip: João Cancelo, Balde, R. Araujo, I. Martínez, Ferran, Pedri, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Iñaki Peña, João Félix, Christensen, Romeu, Vitor Roque, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Gündoğan, Kounde, Astralaga, Lamine Yamal, M. Casadó, Kochen, Fermín, Cubarsí, Marc Guiu and H. Fort.
Cancelo, Iñigo Martínez and Pedri are on the flight to the Middle East this Tuesday despite not being fully fit.
Final session in Barcelona
Before they travelled, the squad had one last workout on the familiar turf of the Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva. The first team were joined by the Barça Atlètic players who are joining them on the trip (Astralaga, Kochen, H. Fort, M. Casadó, Cubarsí and Marc Guiu) as well as Mbacke and Gerard Martí, who are not.
