Barça 92-90 Monbus Obradoiro: Parra rounds off a comeback win

Another win for the Barça basketball team after Euroleague victories over Real Madrid and Baskonia earlier in the week, on this occasion the victory came in the league against Obradoiro. It was by no means an easy win as the blaugranes had to come back from a 13 points deficit against the Galician side to take the game into overtime. A last second score from Parra gave the home side the game with Willy Hernangómez with 23 points and Kalinic with 19 points leading the way on offence. 

Barça off their shooting game 

The early stages were nip and tuck but Barça scored 7 unanswered points to take an early advantage. The visitors reacted well and after brining it level at 14-14, Obradoiro then put their foot on the accelerator to take a 39-34 lead at half time in the Palau. 

With 0/7 in three pointers and 6/13 from the free throw line in the first half, the blaugranes had to up their game. Roger Grimau's team came to within three at 45-42 only for the visitors to accelerate once more and take a 67-58 lead with a quarter to go. 

Reaction and overtime 

Just when they needed it, Barça found their shooting skills once again and a 16-4 run saw them retake the lead at 79-78. Points from the free throw line saw the game end 81-81 and so it went into overtime. The contest remained tight and with the scores at 90-90, Parra found the winning basket with just seconds remaining to send the fans in the Palau home happy.
