Jordi Alba
Jordi Alba's footballing story begins at La Masia and after joining Barça at the age of 10, he proceeded through the various academy team until at the end of the 2007 season, he left Barça and joined UE Cornellà, where he spent a season on loan.
At the end of the 2007 season he left Barça to join Valencia and went immediately out on loan to Gimnàstic de Tarragona. On his return to Mestalla, Alba become a regular in the first team and one of the most promising left backs in La Liga. In the summer of 2012, after scoring in final of Spain's victorious Euro 2012 campaign, he returned to Barça where he spent more than a decade as part of the most successful teams in the history of the game.
Jordi Alba was more than a quick left back who could get to the by line. His skill on the ball and vision also meant he could create goals from almost anywhere. His understanding with Leo Messi was one of the pillars of the team's success and Alba was the provider for many of the Argentine's goals in a Barça shirt.
His career at Barça came to an end in the summer of 2023x when he signed for MLS team Inter Miami.
