Penultimate session before the big game against Atlético Madrid

One of the clashes of the season is just around the corner at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys with Atlético Madrid the visitors on Sunday, kick off 9pm CET. Both Barça and the visitors are coming off the back of wins in midweek in the Champions League which have secured their places in the last 16 of the competition. 

Xavi Hernández's team come into the game level on points with Atlético Madrid on 31, however, Diego Simeone's side have a game in hand on the blaugranes. Both team will be looking to reduce the deficit on the top two of Real Madrid and Girona. The blaugranes have confidence restored following their win over Porto in midweek, coming as it did after the disappointing draw last weekend in La Liga away at Rayo Vallecano. 

After a rest day on Thursday, the squad headed back to work on Friday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper with all the available players plus Marc Casadó, Alarcón, Aleix Garrido and Unai from Barça Atlètic and Pau Cubarsí from the U19s.
