Census of members ends with 110,531 updates

The option to update details remains active on the club website

The deadline for updating FC Barcelona membership details was yesterday, November 30, and the procedure has ended with a total of 110,531 members complying. The 30,770 members who did not can still settle their situation under the terms established by the club statutes, otherwise their memberships will be definitively cancelled.

The club does not want anyone who wishes to remain a member to lose that status, so the option to update membership details will remain open. Pursuant to article 15.1 of the club statutes, defaulting members will receive two notices before their membership is cancelled for good. The first will be sent on Monday 4 December and the second on Thursday 14 December. From 1 January 2024, all members that have not updated their membership details will not be able to renew that membership for 2024, thus losing membership status and all associated benefits.

Essential for digital profile

The FC Barcelona Board of Directors opened the procedure for updating the details of all adult members last March 21. The initial deadline was June 30, which was then put back to October 31, and then again to November 30. This procedure is detailed in the club statutes and is essential in order to create digital profiles for each and every one of the club's members. This is an important step forward to improving the way the club is managed, especially in the context of the future Espai Barça. It is also a security measure to guarantee a quality service.
