Ademar León 25-39 Barça: Too good

Ademar León away is traditionally one of the hardest fixtures in Spanish handball, but the way Barça are dominating these days, they almost made it look easy. It was just the boost that they needed ahead of a tough European road trip to Veszprém.

Leon led 2-1 after four minutes, but that was a far as it went for them. From then on, Barça took command of the game and their lead just got bigger and bigger. Although the home keeper was performing brilliantly, by half-time Barça were already 12 points clear. Staggering dominance.

And in the second half, rather than relax, Carlos Ortega's men just wanted more. So big was the lead that the coach started rotating his bench to give some of the less frequent players some valuable time on court, and yet it make little difference to the overall script. This game was done and dusted long before the referee finally called time.
