‘Una temporada de reptes’ documentary to premiere during the 2023/24 Fundació Barça presentation
The official presentation for Fundació Barça Genuine 2023/24 will take place this Thursday, 30 November at 7.00pm CET at the Auditori 1899. The FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, will be there, along with the Fundación FC Barcelona managing director, Dr Marta Segú, and the team's ambassador, Ronald Araujo. The event will begin with the showing of the documentary 'Una temporada de reptes' ('A season of challenges'), which recounts Fundació Barça's experiences during the 2022/23 season, their second season in LaLiga Genuine, plus their trips to Croatia and Amsterdam.
'Una temporada de reptes' shows the players and coaches recounting their experiences with Fundació Barça Genuine, with a special focus on the challenges they had to overcome during the 2022/23 season. It provides a profound and sensitive insight into a cross-sectional project created in 2021 by the Club's Diversity, Equality and Inclusion department, with collaboration from La Masía and Fundación Barça.
Barça Studios shot and produced the film, which follows on from 'Quan guanyar-ho tot no és el més important' ('When winning everything is not the most important part), the documentary about the Fundació Barça team's first season that was shown during last year's presentation. The documentaries show how many facets of this project have developed, which through its diversity, has become a benchmark in the area of inclusive sport.
Group photo to end the event
In addition to the showing of 'Una temporada de retos', the Fundació Barça Genuine presentation will also feature speeches by President Joan Laporta, and the Fundación managing director, Marta Segú. The team's ambassador, Ronald Araujo, will also say a few words, as will one female and male player from the team, plus two representatives from the coaching staff. The event will end with the customary group photo.
