Sant Just 1-4 Barça: Leaders march on

Despite conceding the first goal, the roller hockey team end up winning clearly on the road

The Bar¡a roller hockey team have consolidated their lead in the OK Liga by beating HC Sant Just 4-1 away. But much as it may look like an easy win, in reality it was anything but and it was the home side who scored first after just two minutes. But the blaugrana recovered from that setback and once they had levelled the scores, they made sure of an emphatic victory in the end.

Indeed, Sant Just may have only just been promoted to the top flight, but they are showing that they have every intention of staying there, and went into the game second in the table. And we saw plenty today of the potential in the OK Liga upstarts.

They're a side we'll undoubtedly be hearing a lot more about in the months to come, but despite the bumps on the way, Barça eventually rolled home smoothly thanks to goals from Eloi Cervera, Marc Grau (2) and Xavi Barroso, while today also brought an official debut opportunity for young Miquel Escala, the 19th player to get his first outing under Edu Castro.
