Betis 1-3 Barça: Blaugranes find the win they needed
The Barça futsal team got back to winning ways in the league with a 3-1 victory away at Betis thanks to two goals from Dyego and a goal from Adolfo. The win keeps Jesús Velasco's team top of the table for another week in the league.
Exciting start
The fans were still taking their seats when Dyego handed the visitors the lead after just three minutes of the contest. The goal came slightly against the run of play as home side Betis had enjoyed a couple of good chances in the opening minutes.
The blaugranes have been hit by injury lately and coach Jesús Velasco brought in three players from the youth teams to bolster his squad for the trip to Andalusia. Keeper Dídac played an important role in the first half, making several vital saves before being eventually beaten by a header from Carrasco on 22 minutes.
Barça reacted almost immediately when Dyego scored again to make it 2-1 just a couple of minutes later. Adolfo picked up a pass from keeper Dídac to make it 3-1 on 32 minutes and both Catela and Antonio went close to making four for the blaugranes before the final whistle.
Next week sees a key game in the league against Inter at the Palau with the next round of the Champions League in Riga, Latvia also on the horizon.
