Joint training with Barça Atlètic
With so many players away on international duty, Xavi Hernández and Barça Atlètic coach Rafa Márquez put their squads together for a joint workout on Thursday morning.
Big game for Barça Atlètic
The reserves do have a fixture this weekend away to Cultural Leonesa, and it's a big top-of-the-table clash. The side from Leon are currently leaders of Group 1 in the third-tier Primera Federación, having won six of their last seven games, but a five-match winning spree has sent Barça flying up to second, just one point behind this weekend's opponents.
The session was also joined by a handful of U19 players, namely Albert Navarro, Eman Kospo, Cristo Muñoz, Brian Fariñas and Joan Anaya, while U16 player Òscar Gistau was also involved, as he was on Wednesday.
Time out
This was the last training session of the week for Xavi and his team. The players will now be having a few days off before returning back to work next week to start focusing in earnest on the next game against Rayo Vallecano.
