The blaugranes show their 'Best Women's Team' award to the fans

There was a very special moment before FC Barcelona Women began their European quest, as just before kick-off, the team presented the "Best Women's  team of 2023" award they won at the 2023 Ballon d'Or Gala on October 30 to the fans inside Estadi Johan Cruyff.

In addition to Aitana Bonmatí being named best player, the blaugrana squad won the award after an outstanding year when they won three trophies, with the Champions League the jewel in the crown.

With a loud ovation as the backdrop, the players went to the middle of the pitch after the pre-match warm up to show off the trophy collected at the France Football gala in Paris. Alexia Putellas lifted the award before a team photo was taken with all the staff. A memorable moment before kick-off to one of the most awaited competitions for Barça fans.
