Marc Guiu, man of the moment
Marc Guiu is the name on everyone's lips this last few days. He's the man who has come to the rescue now on two occasions for FC Barcelona. He did it for the first team against Athletic Club and just a week later he was doing it again for Barça Atlètic in Primera RFEF.
He had only been on the pitch for 23 seconds in his first ever game at senior level, coming on as a late substitute for Fermin Lopez at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys and there he was firing an 80th minute winner past Unai Simon. At just 17 years and 291 days, he became the youngest player ever to score on his Barça debut.

Magic touch
After such an extraordinary debut, the game with Shakhtar Donetsk was a bridge between a return to his origins. On Sunday he was playing for the reserves, although he is not even a common feature in Rafa Márquez's plans. The U19A team is his usual hunting ground, and this was only his second game for the B team, his previous experience amounting to a mere eight minutes against Nastic Tarragona last month.
Against Osasuna Promesas he was once again starting from the bench, and didn't come on until the 80th minute. Barça had just equalised, and Guiu was sent on to see if he could help brew up a late winner. And he did just that, with a brilliant solo move to work his way into position that was followed by a lovely left-footed finish from an angle to beat goalkeeper Pablo València.
It's amazing. History has repeated just one week later. If you need someone to grab a late goal, we seem to have a specialist in Marc Guiu. Remember that name!
