Vivers Herol Nava 31-37 Barça: Second half reaction

After a difficult first half, the Catalans get things sorted and take a win into the international break

Barça go into the international break with their 100 per record still intact, but that's not without a bit of a struggle against Viveros Herol Nava although things turned out just fine in the end. The home side were impressively dominant in the first half and the normally confident Barça were unable to find their stride. But things reverted to normal in the second half, with Valera, Gonzalo and Wanne especially impressive and they eventually took it by six.

The side from Segovia did a stunning job of keeping Barça in check throughout the first half, with their captain Isaias Guardiola and their goalkeeper Dzmitry Patotski shocking a blaugrana side that was just a shadow of its usual self, the home side leading 15-13 at the break.

And for a good chunk of the second half we were still waiting for Barça to start doing what they do, and it wasn't until six consecutive goals from Wanne that things finally started happening. Once Barça had finally got level at 27-27, the home side's morale totally collapsed and it ended up being a comfortable win that even included Oriol Zarzuela coming on for his first ever appearance at the senior level.
