Barça Atlètic 1-0 CD Teruel: Getting it right

Plenty of chances for both sides, but the reserves eventually take it thanks to Diego Percan's goal

Barça have won 1-0 on Sunday afternoon against Teruel thanks to a solitary goal converted by Diego Percan in the first half. Barça played a serious game, but also an attack-minded game that produced so many chances that it's surprising they ended the day with just the one in their account. The win leaves them ninth in the table with 11 points.

Although Pau Víctor cam close almost with the first kick of the game, and Barça had most first attempts and had a goal cancelled out for a very tight offside decision, there were also plenty of moments when Teruel created danger. But while the midfield and and defence made a few mistakes, Astralaga in goal did not.

But it was the Catalans who led at the break thanks to a headed finish from Diego Percan.

Unai and Moha both had chances to make it 2-0, but it was the highly active Percan who was most frustrated as a golden chance to nab his second goal went begging. The chances of a home win were boosted with 20 minutes to play when Teruel's Arnau Graixas was booked for the second time and sent for an early shower. From then on, Barça's lead was never really put in much doubt and the points stayed at the Johan Cruyff.
