Palma Futsal 5-4 Barça: Disappointment in Palma
The Barça futsal team suffered their first defeat of the season after losing 5-4 away at Palma Futsal in Mallorca. Jesús Velasco's team let slip a 4-1 lead in the Balearic Islands in a frenzied second half.
The home side started the game with their intentions clear and they tested Barça keeper Dídac Plana on several occasions in the opening minutes. Nevertheless, it was Barça who struck first with Erick making it 1-0 on 12 minutes. The game swung in the blaugranes' favour as Fabinho made it 2-0 just two minutes later. The visitors seemed to be coasting to victory when Catela made it 3-0 in the second half
Tayebi pulled one back for Palma but the momentum was still with Barça. That was confirmed when Pito made it 4-1 after 28 minutes, a comeback looking unlikely for the home side.
However, Palma rallied and Gordillo made it 4-2 on 28 minutes. Goals from Cleber and Salar leveled things up and with just three minutes remaining Fabinho's strike sealed a comeback win for the home side and a first reverse of the campaign for Barça.
