Dominance from the start

With several players back from injury, Barça had the better of the game from early on despite Xavi Barroso missing a penalty on his return to the Palau for this third spell as a blaugrana. Nevertheless, just minutes later Pau Bargalló made it 1-0 and a second from João Rodrigues after a great pass from Alabart allowed the home side a 2-0 lead.

Another from João and a goal from Alabart allowed Barça to take a 4-0 lead into the break.

In the second half Alabart again was on the scoresheet after a rapid counter attack. The same player completed his hat-trick with a brilliant solo goal to round off a comprehensive win for the blaugranes. The victory set ups a semi final against Reus on Saturday 16 September.
