The international schedule for FC Barcelona players

Here's the checklist of where our stars will be representing their countries over the next few days

The first international week of the 2022/23 season is upon us and brings the usual exodus of Barça stars to play for their countries in games that include qualifiers for Euro 24 and even the 2026 World Cup in the case of the South Americans.

WHO IS PLAYING

BOLIVIA: Cuellar (Barça Atlètic)
BRAZIL: Raphinha
DENMARK: Christensen
FRANCE: Koundé
GERMANY: Gündoğan & Ter Stegen
NETHERLANDS: De Jong
POLAND: Lewandowski
PORTUGAL: Cancelo & Félix
SPAIN: Gavi, Balde & Lamine Yamal

THURSDAY 7 SEPTEMBER

Netherlands v Greece (6.45pm CEST)
Denmark
v San Marino (6.45pm CEST)
Poland
v Faroe Islands (6.45pm CEST)
France
v Ireland (6.45pm CEST)

Only France have got Euro 24 qualifying off to the start they would have expected. Netherlands, Denmark and Poland have all dropped early points and will be hoping to make good use of home advantage to get wins in the bag.

FRIDAY 8 SEPTEMBER

Georgia v Spain (8pm local, 6pm CEST)
Slovakia v Portugal (8.45pm CEST)

After losing to Scotland, Spain need to get their Euro 24 campaign back on the right track, but Georgia is never a simple away trip. If Lamine Yamal plays, he'll become the youngest person ever to play for Spain. Meanwhile, Portugal have won four out of four so far, and the two Joãos will be hoping to keep up the winning form.

Brazil v Bolivia (9.45 local, 2.45am CEST)

The mammoth Conmebol qualifying campaign gets under way, albeit with a difference this time because there are six automatic berths for the ten competing nations. Raphinha's Brazil shouldn't find it too hard to claim one of those, and they start against Bolivia, who have Barça Atlètic's new signing Jaume Cuéllar among their squad. The injured Ronald Araujo won't be joining Uruguay for their games this week against Chile and Ecuador.

SATURDAY 9 SEPTEMBER

Germany v Japan (6.45pm CEST)

As hosts, Germany don't need to qualify for the European Championship, and are playing friendlies instead, in this case with Japan.

SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER

Finland v Denmark (5pm local, 6pm CEST)
Ireland v Netherlands (8.45pm CEST)
Albania v Poland (8.45pm CEST)

More European qualifiers, with the three teams with a Barça interest all facing potentially awkward games on the road.

TUESDAY 12 SEPTEMBER

Spain v Cyprus (8.45pm CEST)
Portugal v Luxembourg (8.45pm CEST)
Germany
v France (9pm CEST)

Spain take on Cyprus in Granada, while Portugal would move close to qualification with the expected home win over little Luxembourg. There's also a high-profile friendly in store between Germany and France, with Barça potentially represented on both sides.

Bolivia v Argentina (4pm Local, 10pm CEST)
Peru v Brazil (9pm local, 4am CEST)

And the second round of matches in South America will see Bolivia hoping to exploit home altitude against world champions Argentina, and Brazil facing a trip to Peru.
