50th appearance for Lewandowski
Robert Lewandowski played his 50th game for FC Barcelona this Sunday at the home of Osasuna, and was able to celebrate the milestone by scoring what turned out to be the winning goal from the penalty spot.
Goals, goals and more goals
The Polish striker joined the club in the summer of 2022 from Bayern Munich, where he was already regarded as one of the finest forwards in the world. He made his first official appearance for the Catalans when starting the opening game of last season, a 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
He may not have scored on his competitive debut, but Lewandowski got two in his second game and the goals haven't stopped flowing since. Overall, and including the one on Sunday in Pamplona, 'Lewy' has amassed 35 goals in his 50 games so far, a stat that doesn't fall far short of the amazing 0.91 goals a game that he scored for his previous club.
