Four Barça Atlètic captains named

Marc Casadó named the new blaugrana development side captain, with Moha Moukhliss, Pelayo and Marc Vidal also named as captains

The four Barça Atlètic captains for the 2023/24 season have been named. With not long to go for the first competitive league game away to SD Logroñés, the quartet of captains to lead the development side this season are now known. So, Marc Casadó is the new Barça Atlètic captain, along with Moha Moukhliss, Pelayo Fernández and Marc Vidal.

Captaincy experience

Marc Casadó was already one of the captains for last season, alongside Arnau Tenas and Àlex Carbonell. Now, given they have both left and with another season under his belt, he takes on the role of captain. In fact, the midfielder has already been captain during many levels of youth football since his arrival at the Club in the 2016/17 season.

Moha Moukhliss joins him as captan in his second season with the blaugrana development side after arriving in the last winter transfer window. Moha, a key player in the team's midfield, provides experience at this level given he is aged 23 years old. Pelayo Fernández, now in his second season in the development side after arriving at the Club in summer 2019, will be the third captain and will bring his knowledge to a team with many new faces.

Lastly, Marc Vidal is the last of the quartet of captains in his first season with the team. The 23-year-old goalkeeper from Villareal will also provide experience among a very young squad.
