The US Tour by the numbers
So, it's goodbye to the United States as the team head back across the Atlantic ready for the Gamper Trophy and the start of official competitions. Let's take numerical stock of the first three games of the preseason.
Araujo, Romeu and Pedri ever present
27 of the 31 players that travelled featured at least once against Arsenal, Real Madrid or AC Milan, but just three played in all three games. Those were Ronald Araujo, Oriol Romeu and Pedri. The Uruguayan played the most time of all, 207 minutes, followed by Romeu (202) and Pedri (158).
Ferran Torres tops scoring
Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dembele, Fermín López and Ansu Fati all netted while Barça were on American soil, but the only player to score twice was Ferran Torres, against Arsenal first and Real Madrid second.
Four debutants
Four players got to play their first games for the team. Against Arsenal, Gündoğan donned the blaugrana jersey for the first time after joining from Manchester City, while Fermín López also made his first appearance, the prelude to his headline-grabbing display against Real Madrid, scoring one goal and also giving an assist.
There were two more newcomers against AC Milan. Mikayil Faye and Alex Valle, both just 19 years of age, came on with five minutes of regular time to go.
