Legends to play two games in Israel

Thierry Henry and Bojan Krkic to feature in September fixtures against Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa

It has been confirmed that the Barça Legends will be going to Israel for the first game since the side coached by Albert Ferrer appeared in Zambia last May 24. On September 5 they'll be playing the veterans from Maccabi Tel Aviv and two days later against those of Maccabi Haifa.

This is the second time the Legends will have visited Israel after a game in 2021 with the Real Madrid Leyendas.

Thierry Henry and Bojan Krkic included

One of the highlights will be the sight of Thierry Henry playing under Ferrer for the first time. The French striker was at Barça from 2007 to 2010, with two Ligas and the Champions League among his trophy haul. We'll also get to see Bojan Krkic back in a blaugrana jersey, a few months after he announced his retirement.

Ferrer also has such players in his squad as Jesús Angoy, Xavi Guzmán, Frederic Dehu, Sergi Barjuan, Jon Andoni Goikoetxea, Juliano Belletti, Roberto Trashorras, Jofre Mateu, Ludovic Giuly and Rivaldo.
