Barça held two training sessions on Monday after overcoming a viral gastroenteritis that affected a significant part of the squad

LOS ANGELES — Monday ushered in a long-awaited return to normalcy for FC Barcelona. With the viral gastroenteritis that had forced the cancellation of the preseason opener final no longer lingering, the Catalans took part in a pair of rigorous training sessions. Once again on the hallowed grounds of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the epicenter of Barça's stateside summer tour, Xavi Hernández's players continued fine tuning their their game on American soil.

In a team-wide display of resilience, both training sessions on Monday boasted the full squad of players, who forged ahead with unyielding determination ahead of what was supposed to be Barça's second preseason game but which will now be the team's preseason curtain-raiser: an epic showdown with Arsenal on Wednesday at SoFi Stadium.
