Four from FC Barcelona contesting UEFA Nations League

Jordi Alba, Gavi, Ansu Fati and De Jong will be at the Final Four from June 14 to 18

From June 14 to 18, the Final Four of the UEFA Nations League is being contested in the Netherlands. Spain, Italy, Croatia and the host nation are looking to follow on from France and Portugal as the third winners of this new continental title. 

From Barça, Jordi Alba, Gavi and Ansu Fati (the latter a late substitute for Nico Williams) will be playing for Spain, while Frenkie De Jong will be donning the Dutch orange.

It all kicks off on Wednesday 14 at 8.45pm CEST at the Stadion Feijenoord, Rotterdam with Holland taking on Croatia. Holland are managed by former Barça player and coach Ronald Koeman, and are facing a side that's qualified for the Final Four for the first time.

They day after at the same time, but at the De Grolsch Veste in Enschede pits Spain against Italy. It's a repeat of the semi-final of the previous edition, where two goals from Ferran Torres sent Spain into the final.

The third place playoff and the final will be played back-to-back on Sunday 18 in Rotterdam. The first game is at 3.00pm CEST, and the decider is later the same day at 8.45pm CEST.

Other Barça players on international duty

These aren't the only games with a blaugrana presence in the last international break of the season:

Germany (Ter Stegen) have three friendlies against Ukraine, Poland and on June 12, 16 and 20.

France (Kounde and Dembélé) have Euro 2024 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Greece on June 16 and 19.

Denmark (Christensen) have friendlies with Northern Ireland and Slovenia on June 16 and 19.

Ivory Coast (Kessie) has an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia on June 17.

Poland (Lewandowski) have a friendly with Germany on June 16 and a Euro 2024 qualifier with Moldova on June 20.
