Four Barça Women in FIFPro XI

The Barça Women triumphed in the FIFPro XI 2022 announced this Monday at the FIFA The Best Gala this Monday in Paris with Alexia Putellas, María León, Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh all featuring.

Barça already had more of the 23 nominees than any other club, but Paños, Paredes, Graham and Aitana all missed out in the end.

Alexia and María León were both part of the treble winning squad last season, with Bronze and Walsh are recognised both for that they've done at Barça and Manchester City but above all for winning the European Championship with England.

From Sant Joan Despí to París

Alexia, María León and Bronze all headed straight to the airport after training this morning, Walsh did not for personal reasons, joined by president Joan Laporta, vice-president Elena Fort and director Xavier Puig.

The FIFPro XI for 2022 was completed by Christiane Endler (Olympique Lyon), Leah Williamson (Arsenal), Wendie Renard (Olympique Lyon), Lena Oberdorf (Wolfsburg), Alex Morgan (San Diego Wave), Sam Kerr (Chelsea) and Beth Mead (Arsenal).
