24 players are named in the group that will be competing for the Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh

The Spanish Super Cup is upon us and FC Barcelona are one of the four teams that are on their way to Riyadh in search of the first piece of major silverware of the season.

Xavi Hernández has named his players who will open the campaign against Betis on Thursday at 8pm CET and will be hoping to be make it into Sunday's grand final against the winners out of Real Madrid and Valencia.

The full list of 24 players is as follows: Ter Stegen, Bellerín, R. Araujo, Sergio, O. Dembélé, Pedri, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ferran, Iñaki Peña, Memphis, Christensen, Marcos A., Jordi Alba, Kessie, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Raphinha, Kounde, Eric, Balde, Gavi, Pablo Torre and Arnau Tenas. This list will need to be cut to 22 before the game(s).

Last session in Barcelona

Before departing for Riyadh the whole squad trained for one last time at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The next time the players work out will be on Saudi soil.
