Alexia Putellas attends the premiere of the documentary series about her life and career

The player was joined by teammates and a Club delegation led by Elena Fort, Eduard Romeu and Xavier Puig

All eyes were on Alexia Putellas today at the Teatre Lliure in Barcelona as she attended the first showing of the documentary series, 'Alexia Labor Omnia Vincit' - a showcase of her life and career to date that premieres from tomorrow on Prime Video.

The first team captain was joined at the event by her teammates, Sandra Paños, Fridolina Rolfo, María León, Ingrid Engen, Patri Guijarro, Claudia Pina, Bruna Vilamala, Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic, Jana Fernández, Cata Coll and Salma Paralluelo. They were joined by the FC Barcelona delegation of Institutional Area vice president Elena Fort, Economic Area vice president Eduard Romeu, and Director responsible for women’s football Xavier Puig.

Produced by Prime Video in collaboration with Barça Studios, the documentary series comprises three 40-50 minute episodes. They cover the player's life from childhood through her beginnings in football, to becoming a leading player via her successes wearing the Barça and Spain jerseys. The production also shows some of the toughest moments of the Barça captain's career, and for any athlete - namely the injury she suffered just prior to the European Championship this summer, which she is still recovering from.

The first player to win two consecutive Ballon D'Or awards, Alexia narrates the challenges she has had to overcome, her ambitions and dreams, and also relives key moments from her career, such as the Women's Champions League quarter and semi-finals played last season at the Spotify Camp Nou, which both set attendance records for a women's football match.

'Alexia: Labor Omnia Vincit' will be available from tomorrow, 30 November, on Prime Video throughout Spain, Portugal and Latin America (except Mexico and Brazil).
