Xavi reaches 50 games as FC Barcelona coach
Sunday's 3-1 defeat at the Santiago Bernabéu marked Xavi Hernández's 50th game as Barça first team coach, less than a year after he joined from Al Sadd in November 2021.
Since his first game against Espanyol at Camp Nou up to the Clásico in Madrid, hiis half century of games have included 36 in LaLiga, 6 in the Champions League, 6 in the Europa League, 2 in the Copa del Rey and 1 in the Spanish Super Cup - resulting in 28 wins, 11 draws and 11 defeats.
Playing an attacking style, the Catalan's team have scored 94 goals and conceded 51 in his first 50 competitive games as coach. He was also at helm for 9 friendlies, resulting in five wins, four draws, scoring 25 goals while only conceding 9.
50 league games for Ansu Fati
The game against Real Madrid also marked a 50th appearance in the league for Barça. The striker made his debut back in August of 2019 and since then he has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in La Liga.
