FC Barcelona celebrates the National Day of Catalonia
FC Barcelona have presented their floral offering at the Rafael Casanova monument to celebrate the National Day of Catalonia. The delegation was led by president Joan Laporta, who was accompanied by Rafael Yuste, first vice president of the Sporting area, Elena Fort, vice president of the institutional area and Board of Directors spokesperson, Eduard Romeu, vice president of the economic area, Miquel Camps, deputy spokesperson for the Board of Directors and director for amateur sports, Joan Solé, director responsible for handball and Jordi Casals, president of Barça Atlètic.
Also present were Marta Segú, managing director of the Barça Foundation and Maite Laporta, director of the Area of Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion.
The organisational representatives were also joined by a wide range of sportspeople from the Club, such as Eric Garcia from the men's first team, and Alexia Putellas and Jonatan Giráldez from Barça Women.
The other teams were represented by Saras Jasikevicius and Nikola Mirotic from basketball, Luka Cindric from handball, Jesus Velasco and Miquel Feixas from futsal, and Edu Castro and Sergi Panadero from roller hockey, as well as sporting coordinator Gaby Cairo. They were also joined by several players from the Barça Genuine Foundation.
Development football was represented by several male and female players, Miquel Puig, La Masia director, and 11-a-side football coordinator Sergi Milà. Lastly, the Agrupació Barça Jugadors was also represented at the Rafael Casanova monument by their president, Ramon Alfonseda, vicepresident Tente Sánchez and director Gemma Giró.
