Sergiño Dest loaned to AC Milan

FC Barcelona and AC Milan have reached an agreement on the loan of the player Sergiño Dest for the 2022/23 season.

The deal also includes an option to buy the player once the loan period expires.

Born in the Netherlands but a United States national, Sergiño Dest became the first player from his country to play for the Barça senior team in 2020/21.  

In two seasons at FC Barcelona, Dest has played on both sides of the defence, as a sweeper, and also as a left or right winger. 

In total, he has played 72 games, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists. His greatest achievement was winning the Copa del Rey in 2020/21.
