Víctor Muñoz
Víctor (Zaragoza, 1957) is one of the greatest paradigms of Spanish football. A player who battled hard in every game and whose extraordinary work-rate was the absolute driver of the team
Signed to Barça in 1981 from Zaragoza, the midfielder immediately became an automatic first choice. Best known for his strength and dedication to the footballing cause, he was an utter specialist at winning back balls and covering every inch of the middle of the park. Throughout the 80s he was one of the lynchpins of the Barça team, and also for Spain. In 1988 he left for Sampdoria and lined up for the Italians against Barça in the 1989 Cup Winners Cup Final. After retirement, he became a highly renowned coach.
