Patri named Gamper MVP

Mallorcan midfielder Patri Guijarro was named the MVP of the Joan Gamper match against Montpellier

She scored the second and third goal of a 6-0 win at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. The first was a moment of sheer class as she latched onto the end of a clearance and did a splendid job of the rest. Goalkeeper Salvador could barely so any more than admire the brilliance of the perfect strike.

She thus becomes only the second winner of the women's Gamper MVP trophy. In 2021/22 against Juventus, it was Jennifer Hermoso who won.
